Jake and the Stiffs were born in a shitty rundown house on the Northwest side of Detroit during the end of Randy's senior year in High School where he lived with many great musicians from the Detroit area from time to time, among them, Matthew Ruffino (Detroit Cosmic Banditos, Sinclair, Nagazi) and many others, also a guitar understudy to Megadeth in 1988), Scott Goldstein ( Jake & the Stiffs, Beer Whores, Chinese Dragons, Detroit 442, many others), Jason “Jake” Loch ( Jake & the Stiffs, Beer Whores, Cold as Life and many others).
