With his thoughtful, passionate improvisations and innovative approach to composition, saxophonist & composer Jacob Yoffee is a unique new voice on the tenor saxophone. A full and focused tone, a strong sense of harmony and angular lines make Yoffee at once identifiable. His playing and writing have been awarded and he has been described as "a polished and sophisticated performer". Born into a military family in North Carolina, Jacob Yoffee moved often growing up and spent his high school years in Okinawa, Japan.
