
Jack Bulterman ( Amsterdam, September 27th 1909 - Amsterdam, May 27th 1977 ) was a mult-talented Dutch trumpet player, pianist, accordion player, arranger, composer, lyricist, music producer and children's book author. He came to early fame in April 1935 when he joined The Ramblers (led by Theo Uden Masman), but really made his name as an arranger and composer of original Dutch jazz songs for The Ramblers and other artists and bands. One of his best known early compositions is Dag schatteboutje (1931).
