The Red and Brown Brothers was a one-off Dutch jazz collaboration in 1958, featuring members of The Ramblers. The line-up comprised two sets of brothers: Jerry and Ack van Rooyen and Kees and Tinus Bruijn. Hence the name of their project: the family name Van Rooyen is closely linked to the color rood (red), whereas the family name Bruijn is a slightly different spelling of the color bruin (brown). The Red and Brown Brothers released an EP and an LP, both in 1958, both entitled East Coast Jazz.
