Jacob Herman Frederik Fischer (born Utrecht, The Netherlands, 18 april 1938) is a Dutch-language singer and songwriter, who - as Jaap Fischer - enjoyed huge success as a folk and protest singer, known for his witty, provocative songs in the Dutch language. Hugely popular amongst university students, Fischer decided to 'go underground' in 1964: he stopped performing and there were rumors that he had committed suicide or gone mad. Classic Jaap Fischer songs include 'Het ei' ('The Egg')
Het ei
Om je geld
De monniken
Cipier
Suzanne
Sprookje
Eendje
