About j-hope
Jung Hoseok (Hangul: 정호석; born February 18, 1994 in Gwangju, South Korea), commonly referred to by his stage name j-hope, is a dancer, rapper, and producer, best known as one of seven members of South Korean boy band BTS (Hangul: 방탄소년단) In the spring of 2010, he made it through auditions to become part of Big Hit Entertainment (now known as Big Hit Music), and began receiving training to become an idol. Prior to this, j-hope had been part of a street dance team called NEURON.
