About Ivo Linna
Ivo Linna (born 12 June 1949) is an Estonian singer. He was born in Kuressaare and graduated from Kuressaare Secondary School, and studied from 1967-1969 at the State University of Tartu in Estonian Philology. He started his singing career with the Kuressaare band Müstikud. This was followed by a stint in the band System, as well as a return to Müstikud. After a period of military service in the Soviet Army, he was a solo singer in Tallinn with the Olav Ehala Ensemble, as well as with the Vana Toomas Orchestra.
