About Isokon Flats
Based in the rural West Midands of England, ISOKON FLATS is the solo project of Mark Walton who is part of the INVERTED EAR MUSIC micro-label collective, also recording more experimental and freeform material with Derek Miles as SHUDDERMEN. Collaborates too with unclejim and Conrad McQueen as CIRCLE OF EARS. Mark previously played with experimental Oxford duo THE INSTITUTION (with Derek Miles) between 1981 - 1985, and solo as DOUBLE SUMMERTIME until 1989.
