There are multiple artists who have performed under the name IQ: 1. IQ are a British neo-progressive rock band founded by Mike Holmes and Martin Orford in 1981 following the dissolution of their previous band, The Lens. Although the band has never achieved major commercial success and has undergone several lineup changes, IQ have developed a loyal following and remain active as of 2025, with the original recording lineup intact except for Orford.
