A l'origine plutôt metal/prog, Innerchaos s'oriente aujourd'hui vers un crossover au sein duquel cohabitent la puissance et les riffs metal, l'énergie du rock, les structures du prog, et surtout une bonne dose de groove. Les compositions du groupe alternent aggressivité et passages atmosphériques, tout en mettant l'accent sur les variations, les mélodies et les harmonies vocales. Innerchaos sort actuellement son 3e album autoproduit Instant Replay.
