
About Inflatable Boy Clams
Inflatable Boy Clams was an all-female art-punk band from San Francisco, active in the early 1980s. The group included Carol Detweiler, JoJo Planteen, Judy Gittelsohn, and Geneviève Boutet de Monvel. Detweiler and Gittelsohn had previously been members of the band Pink Section. Inflatable Boy Clams released a self-titled 2x7" EP in 1981 on Subterranean Records, featuring tracks such as “Skeletons,” “Snoteleks,” “I’m Sorry,” “Boystown,” and “Marin.
