There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Infernal Gates was a melodic death metal band founded in 1992 by Stefan Sundholm (vocals, keyboards), Anders Hagerborn (bass) and Jonas Gustafsson (drums). The line-up was completed later that same year when Johan Hedman (guitar) and Jan-Åke Österberg (guitar) joined the band. Their style has been described as "Atmospheric and melodic mid-tempo death metal with a mix of folk / emotional dark romanticism".
