About Ikkubaru
Ikkubaru is a four-piece musical ensemble hailing from Bandung, Indonesia. The band's distinctive name originates from the transformation of its frontman's name, "Iqbal," into the Japanese katakana romanization. Formed in December 2011, Ikkubaru draws substantial inspiration from the music of 1980s Japan, with influences rooted in the works of artists such as Tatsuro Yamashita, Mariya Takeuchi, and Kadomatsu Toshiki. Their inaugural album, "Amusement Park," marked its debut in 2014 and achieved notable success, particularly in Japan.
