About Idyl
Formed in June 2000 after a number of other musical ventures, idyl is the musical output of a singular person. Soon after it's creation, a 4 song 3" demo cd was released on Frozen Empire Media, entitled kef. A few months time led to another release on the same label, this time an EP consisting of seven new tracks, entitled halcyon. At this time was also the first live performance at the Pyramid club in New York City, as part of the Frozen Empire Media showcase.
