With unapologetically blunt lyrics backed by lo-fi pop soundscapes and souled out harmonies, iB101 wastes no time calling out detractors and naysayers. Born in the last days of 1999, iB101 is a child of the internet. The musical material is playful and catchy, drawing inspiration from The Emotions and Prince in the same breath as Nicki Minaj and Shania Twain.
