About Hyubris
Hyubris is a heavy/folk metal band, with Celtic roots, hailing from Tramagal, Portugal. From 2001 onwards, Hyubris started to play continuously, without any hiatus. The name ‘Hyubris’ derives from the Greek word ’Hybris’, which means ’Challenge to the Gods’. The band consists of: Filipa Mota - Vocals/Flute Jorge Cardoso - Guitar Panda - Bass/Portuguese guitar João David - Keyboards Lulla - Drums Hyubris soon caught the attention and recognition of the public, thanks to their original sound.
