About Hüsnü Arkan
Hüsnü Arkan was born in 1958, in Kınık, Turkey. He started studying architecture in Ankara in 1975, but after three years, he had to quit school due to the political and public disturbance that the county was in. Later on, he graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Law School. He has always been interested in writing and music. He was arrested in 1982 and spent some time in prison due to political issues. Later, he escaped to Greece, stayed in a refugee camp for some time there and then went to Amsterdam in 1985.
