About Human Ground
Human Ground is an Estonian death/thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles, in 2003. They consist of Tarvo Valm (guitars, some vocals), Raivo Piirsalu (bass), Marko Atso (drums), and Pille Rand (main vocals). They are mostly known for the fact that their lead singer is female. Sven Varkel, a rhythm guitar player, used to be a member of the band also. However, due to personal reasons he left the band in 2005. Human Ground have released one self-titled album so far, in 2005, which was acclaimed by most metal listeners in Estonia.
