About Houseguests
The Houseguests are the band that Bootsy Collins and his brother Phelps Collins put together after leaving James Brown band and before joining forces with George Clinton's PFunk conglomerate. They were sounding very similar to Funkadelic at the time before they even knew about them yet. The band also included the future lead singer for the Spinners Phlippe Wynne.
