About Hot Pink Turtle
Hot Pink Turtle was born on December 13, 1989. They played the Kansas City music scene for a couple years, got some label attention, recorded one national release, toured for 18 months or so, then -- kind of fell apart about the same time that their label went bankrupt. HPT recorded songs for three national releases: 1992, The REX Music Sampler; 1993, Ticklewigglejigglepickle; and 1994, I Predict A Clone (A Steve Taylor Tribute). In addition, they recorded seven unreleased song for what would have been their second studio album, Horsechild.
