About Hooshyar Khayam
Hooshyar Khayam (Persian: هوشیار خیام) (b. 1978) is considered as one of the most versatile musicians among the new generation of composer-performers in Iran. He is equally active as a classical pianist, as a composer, and as improvisor and collaborator in the realm of world music. His music has been performed by such artists as Hossein Alizadeh, Massoud Shaari, Amir Eslami, Aram Talalyan, Artur Avanesov, Wayne Foster-Smith, and Stephen Prutsman.
