About Hollowphonic
Hollowphonic is an ambient, space-rock, shoegaze, electronic band based out of the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario. The outfit, was founded by Brad Ketchen in 1999 and have been described as "a Tsunami of sound'', "Like Mercury Rev in a wind tunnel" and a review of the debut record 'phonic 50mg' stated it was "an atmospheric masterpeice". Hollowphonic's sound is the trademark heavy atmospheric reverb soaked guitar, extreme dynamics, watery sounding vocals with a hybrid guitar based sound fused with electronics.
