Hobo Jim is an Alaskan legend. After many years of working in Alaska as a commercial fisherman, logger, as well as cowboy, Hobo took to writing songs about his occupations and wilderness lifestyle. Hobo has gathered a multitude of fans across the state of Alaska and among its visitors. In 1994, the state legislature and governor of Alaska named Hobo Jim “Alaska’s state balladeer.”
