About Hobbit
There seems to be more than one artist/band named Hobbit. Feel free to add information for other Hobbits. 1. Hobbit was a short-lived British rock band of the 1970s fronted by the prolific songwriter David Mindel. It seemed like Mindel used a different band name for every song he wrote in the early 1970s. Hobbit was established immediately after he had issued singles with Just Plain Jones and Esprit de Corps. The only single under the Hobbit moniker was 1972's 'Only Friends' b/w 'Everything's Turning Out Fine', on Fury Records.
