About Hip Pocket
Hip Pocket has been around for approximately 20 years, in many incarnations. However, there is a core of players that has been alongside Sandy Megas through the entire process. It all started with a rehearsal in a hangar at the Redlands airport, reading through some of Sandy's arrangements for this small group of 9 players that Sandy wanted to make sound like a full Big Band.
