About HI DERE
HI DERE is the musical side-project of Dan Perry, a Boston, MA-based bass-baritone. Born in Ohio, Perry was raised on the outskirts of the Twin Cities in Minnesota where his father and older brothers filled his ears with Pink Floyd, Rush, Prince, The Beatles, James Brown, Vanilla Fudge, Leonard Bernstein and Dmitri Shostakovich. While most of the music Perry performs is in the classical choral realm, the music he writes leans towards 90s electronica, touching on breakbeat, techno and synth pop.
