Hensley King has a full, rich voice with just a bit of rasp which is ideal for this perfect union of gospel and reggae music. Most of the tracks here are reggae treatments of old hymns that many will be familiar with. "Nearer My God, To Thee" is beautifully done with King's baritone-ish delivery accented by sweet, subtle backing vocals and some nice touches on the steel drums. "God Love Is Our Love" is a gospelized version of a song which Wyclef Jean wrote for Whitney Houston.
