Helen Terry sang in Boy George's band, Culture Club, from 1982 to 1984. She provided background vocals on many of Culture Club's hits, including Karma Chameleon, Do You Really Want To Hurt Me and Church of The Poison Mind. She left the band in 1984. That same year, she released her first solo single, Love Lies Lost, and collaborated with producer Giorgio Moroder on the song Now You're Mine, from the movie "Electric Dreams." 1986 saw the release of Helen's only solo album, Blue Notes, produced by Don Was.
