About Heaters

Grand Rapids, Michigan's Heaters play a heavily atmospheric yet driving brand of psychedelic garage rock influenced by surf and Krautrock. The group consists of Nolan Krebs, Joshua Korf, Ryan Hagan, and Ben Taber. Initially known as Plantains, they became Heaters with the release of 2014's Solstice, and continued to refine their sound with subsequent releases such as 2017's Matterhorn and 2018's Suspended Youth. Krebs and high-school classmate Andrew Tamlyn moved to Grand Rapids in 2013 and formed a band called Plantains when they met Korf
