About Harold Faltermeyer
Hans Hugo Harold Faltermeyer (born 5 October 1952) is a German musician, composer and record producer. He is known for composing "Axel F," the instrumental theme for the 1984 film Beverly Hills Cop, which became a notable synthpop track during the 1980s. Faltermeyer also composed the "Top Gun Anthem" and contributed to the score for the 1986 film Top Gun. His work on these films earned him two Grammy Awards: in 1986 for Best Album of Original Score Written for a Motion Picture or Television Special
