About Habil Aliyev
Habil Mustafa oglu Aliyev's life was hard but interesting. He was born in the village of Uchqovaq in the Agdash region of the Azerbaijan Republic on May 28, 1927. At the age of 7, he started his seven years of primary education at school No. 3 in the center of the region. At that time, the famous singer and teacher of music, Ahmed Agdamsky (Ahmed Bashir oghlu Badalbeyli), was renting a room in Habil's house, where he was often visited by musicians who talked of mugham and tesnif and of the national music, sometimes playing the tar or kamancha.
