About Gyves
There are two projects under this name: 1. Gyves (Minimal Synth / Darkwave, est. 2012) Gyves is an electronic project existing at the intersection of Minimal Synth and Darkwave. Based on a strict no-DAW approach, all music is composed and performed exclusively on the Roland MC-505 hardware. The sound reflects a state of uneasy sleep, where rigid industrial rhythms dissolve into ethereal, haunting textures. The discography documents a gradual shift in sound:
