Gwerz featured some of the most outstanding representatives of the modern Breton traditional music, including the singer and clarinettist Eric Marchand, the guitarist Soïg Sibéril, as well as Jacky and Patrick Molard on pipes and fiddle. They remain one of the most influential modern Breton folk groups. Occasionally, they still play at Breton festivals and festoù noz.
