About Gustav Brom Big Band
Orchestr Gustava Broma je velký jazzový a swingový orchestr (tzv. Big Band) čítající celkem 18 hudebníků, konkrétně sólový klavír, kytaru, kontrabas a bicí a zbývajících 14 hráčů v sekci trombónů, trubek a saxofonů. Kapela za dobu své existence nahrála kolem 576 různých hudebních nosičů.[1] Začátky souboru se datují v červnu roku 1940, kdy členové poprvé veřejně vystupovali v hotelu Radhošť v Rožnově pod Radhoštěm.
