About Guinea Worm

Guinea Worm were a noise punk band from Cwmbran in South Wales and active from 1989 until 1992. They were influenced by a wide range of music from noise rock and hardcore punk to alternative metal and electronic music. Most of their gigs were at Newport TJ's and these included support slots with My Bloody Valentine, Poison Idea, Pegboy and Therapy? The original line-up of the band was Richard Thomas (vocals/guitar), Keith Berrow (bass) and Paul Welsby (drums). They also performed featuring Kerry on trumpet and Jason on euphonium.
