About Guinea C
Guinea C was formed in 2004. We play in the hotels and bars in the tourist area in The Gambia. Hotel and Restaurant Bakadaji is our home base. In the garden of this hotel we also rehearse our new songs. All members of the band were born or raised in Guinea, West Africa. We call our country Guinea Conakry, to distinguish it from its neighbor Guinea Bissau. To honor our homeland we named the band Guinea C. We also painted our instruments in the color of the Guinean flag: red, yellow and green.
