He produced and recorded his first album with Open Grave Culture in his home recording studio in 2007 with his best friends Chad and Brent providing vocals and turntables, respectively. This was also the birthplace of his first self-titled album as Growsound over the following two years. The album is a survey of ambient textures laden over heavy drum breaks
