The purpose of the Great Freedom Teaching is to recognize the nature of mind through becoming accustomed to two qualities of mind: Perfect mental stability and mental clarity. By the power of resting as awareness for short moments, repeated many times, the highest degree of confidence in the mind is gained and its natural state of perfect stability and clarity are enjoyed. We also realize the deepest levels of understanding, and the sharp wisdom that dissolves disturbing states of mind.
