About Gravity Cafe
Gravity Cafe is the newest foray into genre-bending music by Philadelphia-born composer Dan West. Dan first started arranging and composing electronic music sometime in the early 90's utilizing 8-bit .mod trackers shortly before pentium pc's went mainstream. The focus was mostly on big-beat and techno. Dan (having previously been a saxophone, bass, and guitar player) also started playing in bands ranging from funk and acid-jazz, to hip-hop, rock and metal around this same time in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
