About Gogo Tsampa
Gogó Tsampá (Gr: Γωγώ Τσαμπά; Orchomenus, Greece, November 9th 1982) is a Greek singer of traditional Greek Dimotiko music, as well as Greek pop folk. Dubbed a woman of low notes, her voice has been described to have a deep, Byzantine timbre. Tsampa grew up in a musical family with her father being a singer and a church chanter, eventually following along at his appearances at village festivals (Gr: πανηγύρια; panigyria). She has been active since the late 1990s
