About Go to the West
Go to the West is an acoustic/folk band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Started in 2010 by Joey Turner, Go to the West played various shows around Hamilton, eventually picking up Shane Cabral in 2012 to play lead guitar. In 2013, Turner recorded/released the debut self-titled EP in 2013. In mid 2013, Turner picked up Ethan Hibionada on drums and Go to the West became a three-piece. Following that, the band recorded their second EP which has now been released. Go to the West remains active in Hamilton, continually playing shows.
