In 2002, Robert Pollard of Guided By Voices and too many side-projects to mention here, joined forces with Mac McCaughan of Superchunk and Portastatic to create twelve tracks of pure pop bliss which they named Calling Zero. Mac presented Bob with a bed of beautiful instrumentals, and in turn, Bob has delivered lyrical magistery and vocal performances that only he could top. The LP was released on vinyl and CD via Bob's Fading Captain imprint.
