Gnoss is a Scottish four-piece folk band based in Glasgow that was formed by Orkney duo of fiddler/mandolinist Graham Rorie and singer-guitarist Aidan Moodie, along with Connor Sinclair (flute/whistles) and Craig Baxter (bodhran/stomp), all former students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Forming a duo in 2015, Rorie and Moodie released an eponymous album as Gnoss that same year. The duo was awarded a prestigious Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections and reached the semi-finals of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 2016.
