About Glimmer in the Ganzfeld
Formed in Athens, Ga, Glimmer In The Ganzfeld is the musical endeavor of multi-instrumentalist Micah Proffer. After many failed attempts of keeping a solid band going with other musicians, Micah decided it was time to take things into his own hands, where he wouldn't have to rely on anyone other than himself for the creation of music and formed GITG. The name "Glimmer In The Ganzfeld" can actually be interpreted in quite a few different ways. "Glimmer" does not only mean "flicker," it is also the Icelandic word for "Micah.
