Give Away Your Hearts formed in 2006 with founding members Bryan Ashmore (A.K.A. "Ash") and Joel C. Bennett. Their musical bond was formed out of a shared love for paint-peeling arena anthems of the '70s and '80s, Brit pop swagger, and R&B soul.
