
Johann Aber (also Giovanni Aber) (fl.1765 - 1783) was an 18th Century German composer and flautist active in Italy. In 1765 he was in Sammartini's orchestra, in 1779 at La Scala in Milan, then flute teacher at Collegio Longone in Milan. On 26th March 1783 he is on the list of musicians with the founding of the Pio Istituto dei Professori di Musica in Milan.
