
Christian Reichardt (1685–1775) is an Erfurt-associated eighteenth-century figure remembered both in civic records and in the manuscript tradition of central German organ music. Alongside his non-musical roles, he is identified as an organist, and his name survives in connection with a compact group of chorale-based organ pieces preserved in German archives. His securely attested musical legacy consists of manuscript settings of Lutheran chorales
