About Giant Robot and the City of Tokyo
Giant Robot and the City of Tokyo hailed from Norwich, England. Their records were released by local label and show promoters Howlbackhum. Frequently likened to the early 90s bands that influenced them, they didn't write any A-level English standard, angst-ridden world-weary lyrics, instead they sang from the heart about the stuff that really mattered : discount holidays, barbecues, pro wrestling and the lack of ability to write world weary lyrics. Best played loud, preferably drunk.
