About Ghostplane
Ghostplane are an alternative New Zealand guitar band. Ghostplane grew out of Wellington indy mainstays Dana Eclair when Saul Clifford left the band to move to Seattle. Ghostplane's sound is a hypnotic mix of desert surrealism and guitar pop good times. The twin songwriting talents of Achilles Botes and Mark Dryburgh are supported by Ash Hammer (bass) and Mike Scudder (keys, percussion). To date the band has released two EPs as Dana Eclair; the obscure and out of print "The Longest Drink In Town" and the celebrated "The National Velvet".
