About Gerald Fried

Gerald Fried (born 13 February 1928) is an Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning composer and musician from New York City. He attended what is now Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School as an oboe major and went on to play in numerous groups such as the L.A. Philharmonic and the Little Orchestra Society.
